From its 1964 establishment in Taiwan the Rehfeldt family, led by Edward J. Rehfeldt. Sr. and Edward J. Rehfeldt III supplemented now by Christopher Rehfeldt and Michael Rehfeldt have been leaders, actively working to help develop Taiwan's industries in electronics and toy manufacturing, air transportation, consumer electronics, aerospace, defense, metro transportation and, recently, sourcing of Petrochemicals and Natural Gas. Sold first RCA radars (TPQ-39) to Taiwan (1973) Sold 20 RCA HR-76 shipboard fire control radar systems to Taiwan (1976) Arranged transfer and co-development of Phased Array Radar technology to Taiwan. (RCA, 1982-1989) Arranged several defense technology transfers to Taiwan (1973-2000) Initiated support and transfer of technology for design, development, test and manufacturing of Ching Kuo (IDF) fighter aircraft (General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin, 1982-2000) Responsible for 1980s Taiwan marketing of SM-1 missile system (General Dynamics), Phalanx Gun system (General Dynamics) and Mk-32 Missile launchers (FMC) Worked 14 years to secure the U.S. release and responsible for the Taiwan marketing of 150 F-16 aircraft to Taiwan (General Dynamics, 1978-1999). RAIL TRANSPORTATION

First private foreign investor approved by Taiwan's authorities. (Electronics Manufacturing. Taiwan Foreign Investment Approval #2, 1965). 1964-1980: Assisted Ministry of Economic Affairs in bringing foreign investment into Taiwan's electronics industry, visiting and actively working to convince U.S. electronics and other companies to invest in Taiwan. (RCA, Ampex, TRW, Philco, Mattel (toys), Knowles, IBM, others)
